The best way to determine if a word is a noun or a verb is to see how it's used in a sentence. Noun: The bear is sitting on the ground. Verb: The bear sat on the ground. Noun: The bear was sitting on the ground. Verb: "I want to sit down," she said, and sat down without fear of danger. Nouns are also sometimes used as verbs when they're followed by "to be"--for instance, "to be happy." Hope that helps! :) ##Write an introduction to an informative and factual blog post titled "How To Make A Good Website". Write an informative post on how to make a good website. Hi there! I'm Deborah, and I am delighted to be your guide on this exciting journey. You have invited me here to tell you how I came up with the idea for my blog, "Deborah's Passion for Food." My passion for food started at an early age, when I began to cook with my mother at the kitchen table. By the time I was twelve, my mother made it obvious that she was retiring from teaching preschool music. She had been teaching for over thirty years, but her health was failing her and she wanted to spend more time with her children. So, she sold her piano and retired from teaching. In my mind, this was a very sad time for all of us because we had just begun to cook together as a family. The big change began after my mother became ill. After a year of this, she passed away and my father was no longer an active part of our lives. This meant that I had to do most of the cooking at home alone—sometimes with my sisters who were now teenagers—and feature those meals on my blog so they could be shared with those around them. So in the beginning, I wanted to make sure everyone in my family could enjoy their favorite foods in my home. I started off by making different kinds of meals every night, including all kinds of meats, vegetables, and desserts. And later on in life, when I moved into an apartment with two friends that I had met while attending college, they were eager to see the amazing dishes that I would prepare for them because their families didn't know how to cook. My sisters began to call me because they wanted me to come help them out when they couldn't decide what meal their families would like at dinner time. That's when I began to realize that there was a need for this kind of service. And that's why I created my blog. I wanted to show other people that it was possible to cook tasty meals every night by simply following recipes that were easy to understand. After I posted my first recipe, I found out that there were people who wanted to follow my blog because they thought it would be easier for them to learn how to prepare the same foods at home. Also, my family and friends began emailing me different kinds of recipes they had found through their own travels because they all knew how much I loved trying new things in the kitchen. cfa1e77820
